Brewed with malting barley from Bohemia using the decoction method. In this process, part of the mash is boiled to give the brew a particularly full flavor. The unfiltered lager is best presented in the Willy mug.
The historic brewing malt gives the lager its golidg light color supported by a fine lees.
A steadfastly wise velvety soft fine-pored head sits enthroned on top.
On the palate, cereal-bready notes spread, supported by a super full-bodiedness and fleeting caramel notes. The hop garden is already settling on the tongue.
Cooked in a wood-fired brew kettle with a Bavarian hop selection from the Hallertau region. The pale lager owes its resinous, hop-spicy aroma to the "Herkules" hop variety.
The harmonious balance is provided by the varieties "Diamant" & "Smaragd" with their hop-floral bouquet.
The high drinkability of the brew is due to its low bunging and its gentle storage in over 6 weeks at tapping temperatures in our lagering cellar under the brewery.
