The Sol beer is a product from Mexico, which is particularly popular in the southeast of the country and one of the first lagers in Mexico. Legend has it that in 1899 a German brewer saw a ray of sunshine falling on the stove in a small brewery called "El Salto del Agua". Inspired by the natural spectacle, the man named his beer after the sun, which means "sol" in Spanish. With its smooth and refreshing character, the blond beer has become an important and popular product, shining on the beer menu in more than 70 countries.
