Beer description
The cold pressed cherries sourced for this deep red ale were first developed at the University of Saskatchewan in 1999, called Carmine Jewel. Cam McLeod at Sante Fe Food Company then began growing the prairie hardy bush in Cabri, SK in 2000. Nowadays, Cam has 6,000 bushes in production. Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, this brew will be sure to satisfy those late summer cherry cravings.
