Sinebrychoff (Carlsberg Group) - Karhu Polaris IPA

Bear Polaris IPA 4,5% is an arctic fresh and easy-drinking IPA, which gets its character from the Polaris humour and cool mouthfeel. "The dry-hopped aromas highlight tropical fruit, herbs and mint. This makes the IPA exceptionally fresh," says Sinebrychoff's head brewmaster Heikki Vuokko. The can's bear image was created by Jenna Kunnas, a Helsinki-based illustrator, cartoonist and graphic designer known for her distinctive style and animal-themed illustrations. "Usually my illustrations are based on Finnish nature, but this time it was clear that the Polaris IPA label had to feature the northernmost bear. Illuminated by a riot of colours from the northern lights, the polar bear rises from the chilly sea and looks up at the starry sky. The image is strong and delicately fragile at the same time, just like the endangered, largest bear species in the world," says Jenna Kunnas. Bear Polaris IPA is packaged in a 0.5 litre can.
