Haw River Farmhouse Ales - Shortstraw

A beautifully delicate, delightfully unfiltered 7.1% India Pale Ale that we brewed with many, many buckets of freshly-foraged, young Scrub Pine needles and tips found just down the hill from the brewery here in Saxapahaw. There's a soft resin that runs throughout and lingers just a little longer then usual from the use of fresh, bright, citrusy pine needles in the boil, finished with just enough bright, beautiful hops to connect the dots and keep things balanced.
