Benny Barrel Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour Bock is a bottom fermented dark doppelbock with 19.9% original wort and 8.1% alcohol, aged in a real bourbon whiskey barrel. Slightly opal, deep chestnut brown in color with an extremely decent head. Almost without recens. Drinking temperature 8-14°C. The wood notes from the bourbon barrel and bourboun whiskey are embedded by a mild, complex acidity. The dark barley malt provides notes of caramel, red berries, sherry and gentle hints of chocolate. Unobtrusive, velvety and nicely balanced. A beer for friends of the unusual style of sour beers.
