The Schönramer Saphir Bock gets its name from the Hallertau aroma hops "sapphire". For 100 liters of beer we use about 1,000 g of hops. In comparison, in a normal light only 150-200 g. The large amount of sapphire hops gives the beer a flowery fruity bouquet of citrus, grapefruit and nuances of peach, mango and passion fruit. This bouquet is underlined by the aftertaste of white pepper. The body is a full, velvety, lively and delicate interplay. Only at the finish is the fine filigree bitterness to advantage. The sapphire buck is a seasonal specialty and will be bottled from mid-March. Due to the high demand, the sapphire buck is available only a few weeks.
