Brauerei Schlappeseppel - Schlappeseppel Weißbier

At that time Friedrich Eder, the founder of the brewery, acquired the brewery and restaurant "Zum Ochsen", well-known since 1779. This was the nucleus of today's brewery in Großostheim. In the following decades, the company grew steadily. Since 1999, the Schlappeseppel beers are brewed there. Schlappeseppel Weißbier is a very soft beer because of the use of the "shellless" wheat malt (the coating substances that have the barley malt are missing). Special top-fermented yeast gives the wheat beer fruity to floral aromas. Due to the higher carbon dioxide content, the beautiful and voluminous Weißbier-Schaumkrone is produced with gentle pouring.
