Beer description
A beer that started Samuel Adams' odyssey into the world of extreme brewing. Its deep, full taste explodes with notes of maple, vanilla, oak and toffee. That taste and rich mouthfeel have drawn comparisons to stale port, sherry, and cognac, and Samuel Adams Triple Bock should be enjoyed as well. We recommend serving it in a glass at room temperature - one bottle should be enough for two to three people. Its warming malt character and its fruity aromas make it an ideal aperitif after dinner. Only three vintages were produced: 1994, 1995 and 1997. The vintages 1994 and 1995 are marked as such on the back label, the 1997 vintage is not.
