Beer description
Sambrook's Junction Ale is a beer brewed in 2009 for the London microbrewery's one-year anniversary. The bright ale got its name from Clapham Junction in London, which is known as the busiest railway station in the UK. The Sambrook Brewery is very close to this train station. The Junction Ale is brewed using traditional English brewing methods and contains only malt, hops, barley, pure yeasts and, of course, fresh brewing water. The Maris Otter Pale malts, crystal barley malt and slightly roasted barley give the Junction Ale its beautiful color. At the same time, the ale gets a spicy note and a sweetish taste of blackberries and caramel. Sambrook's Junction Ale uses only English hop varieties. The Junction Ale unfolds its full flavors when it is enjoyed well chilled out of the glass. Due to the wonderful malty taste and the slightly increased alcohol content, the light ale is best enjoyed with English dishes. The beer goes well with chicken, steaks or sausages.
