Sakiskiu alus (Sakiskiu) - Smoked Helles

Pale, slightly misty, but a nice persistent small tight head that even leaves some lacing. Lovely soft smoky aroma, not overly aggressive, as has become the fashion nowadays. Pleasant lager malts support it nicely. Very similar taste, almost Heller levels of smoking, but with Heller levels of balance too, just right. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. Heavy bitter bite, hops and smoke do rasp the tongue somewhat.
