Beer description
The Spanish writer Juan de la Cueva, who wrote in 1575 about a Mexican dish that combined seedless chipotts with beer: Chipotle Ale is based on Rogue's Oregon Golden Ale, but delicately flavored with smoked Chipotle Chili Peppers. Deep golden in color with a firm head, rich malty aroma, delicate smooth and crunchy aroma and subtle chipotle chilli finish. Formerly known and packaged as Mexicali Rogue, Chipotle Ale is created from Northwest Harrington, Klages and Maier Munich Malts; Willamette and Cascade hops; And smoked jalapeno (chipolte) peppers. Chipotle Ale is designed for the Spring Release and in a 22 ounce bottle and on draft. Mix it with Rogue Chocolate Stout and create a mole 'black and tan!
