Rogue Ales Brewery - American Amber Ale

One of the first beers from the Rogue Brewery was the Rouge Amber Ale. It was brewed and served for the first time in 1988 in the former brewery. The special thing about the Rogue Brewery and many of your beers is the use of home-grown grain and hops. The Rogue Farm even breeds hops that are only available there. Amber ales are ale beers that have a darker color than, for example, pale ales. This darker color is achieved by a larger amount and by more rigid malt. Accordingly, Amber Ales also have a clearly malty character.
