Ridge Runner’s big brother, this beer has all the same ingredients as Ridge Runner, but more of everything. The Vermonster was created to celebrate Rock Art’s 10 th anniversary and was built using themes of ten. 10% alcohol, 100 bittering units, and brewed with 110 pounds of malt per barrel. The malts definitely drive the flavor of this beer by contributing a pleasant caramel note and hiding the taste of the alcohol, which is a challenging feat to accomplish in a beer this strong. Fresh it has a huge hop nose and flavor almost IPA like.
