History of the brewery
In 1859, Frydenlund Brewery was founded on the Frydenlund estate in Oslo by ship captain Mads Langaard. In Frydenlund Fatøl LITE, we've reduced the amount of carbohydrates by 70%, and the beer therefore contains 30% fewer calories than regular beer.
The flavour
Frydenlund Fatøl LITE has a deep golden colour. The aroma is characterised by a good balance between roasted malt and hops, with a clear rustic yeast character. The flavour is slightly full-bodied with a round malt sweetness, well balanced against moderate bitterness.
Food pairing
The beer goes well with pork, pizza and cured meats. Serving temperature: 3 - 6 °C.
