Beer description
After the previous two in this series were "Watching Crag", a DDH Black IPA and "Three Peaks Mountain Race", a Yorkshire Farmhouse Ale, we wanted to revisit the paler side of the spectrum and brew another light IPA. In terms of ABV, we were aiming for 3.5%, less than some of the previous ones in the series, but we used everything we had learned from beers like Striding Edge, the only customer who made it into the core assortment! As always, we have set ourselves the goal of making the beer super fit for the market and still great. The malt menu features oats and a hint of light Munich malt, as it provides a light yet full-bodied base for dry hops that combines the enormous flavors of Simcoe, Topaz and Mosaic. We've decided to double the whirlpool additive to double the flavor and aroma of our low ABV beers. Expect citrus fruits in advance, subtle notes of berries and a solid backbone of resinous pine wood.
