The processing of high-quality malt from own barley cultivation, exquisite hops qualities and fresh spring brewing water from the nature reserve Sieseberg give this noble Pils a special freshness and its round, fine-dry taste. For over 315 years, the Schloßbrauerei Rheder is owned by the barons of Spiegel and Mengersen. It is located in the outer bailey of Rheder Castle. In 1830, the brewery was expanded for the first time and converted into a steam brewery based on the Bavarian model. Now, the lower-fermented beer, which is easier to store and transport, can be brewed.
A golden Pilsner with a lot of head. Surprising amount of hops for a Pils, very lightly bitter but a strong aftertaste, kind of like when you eat the rind of an orange or lemon.

Light bodied, medium bitterness, leaves a strong aftertaste and kind of lingers. It is smooth at the beginning though

This is a dark tasting nasty pilsner. Don’t like it much at all. The after taste is horrid.
