Beer description
DIEZ Russian Imperial Stout is a black as night beer with a high drinkability despite the characteristic strength of the style. In order to achieve a high alcohol level and a slight residual sweetness, we used two types of yeast, one for fermentation and the other for fermentation. Moreover, two special races (and this is the author's secret), in our opinion, in this case, well suited for the balance of alcohol, density and sweetness. In addition, in order to achieve a special, caramel note in the flavour, we carried out a five-hour boiling process. And that's not all. Before presenting DIEZ to the public, we gave it a rest and infused it with oak chips infused with whisky. You can judge for yourself what happened.
