Renterghem Geirn Meugen Donker

Receding creamy-yellowish head over dark cola-coloured beer. Caramel, quite some yeast-features, green leaves (holly..), parsley, dark candi sugar. Lots of melanoidins, generally sweet-roasted, but enlivened by a slight but welcome acidity. Bit cheesy, not hoppy. Dark candi sugar, and no spicy overtones as in the blonde. Well-carbonated, medium bodied at best, every so slightly sticky. Better try than the blonde - getting better
