Haw River - Regent's R'ambler

Last summer, we were lucky enough to acquire a couple of really awesome "brown gin" barrels, straight from a distillery in West Virginia that ages their gin in previously-used bourbon barrels for a few months. When we got them into the brewery and opened up, our noses filled with all kinds of complex layers of aromatic herbs, spices and vanillins, which, over the course of the winter, have lent a really unique facet to one of our favorite beers to place in barrels, our Regent's Rye Tripel
