Beer description
Life Finds A Way is their second brand new Red IPA this year. The brewery is known for only releasing one per year, but their first one this year sold out so quickly that they threw caution to the wind. And this one might even be better than the last. They start with a stunning deep amber color, so clear that it appears slightly lighter than the amount of malt would suggest. Then they dry hopped it with some US classics like Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe, as well as the modern New Zealand favorite Riwaka and Riwaka Hop Kief to give it additional depth and complexity. In the nose, there's plenty of orange citrus fruits and pine needles with a hint of moisture. Take a sip of this ruby red pleasure and let yourself be surprised by the fresh juiciness of the Citra and Riwaka hops, transitioning into beautiful moist and overripe fruit notes of Mosaic and Riwaka. Let the satisfying hop notes envelope your palate and enjoy the roasted malt and toffee notes that come through in the finish from the malt bill. The finish is a wonderful blend of hop and malt synergy, sure to leave you craving the next sip.
