Your annual NZ For a Day presents one of their favorite hop-growing regions in the world, the Nelson region at the top of New Zealand's South Island. For this edition, the brewery has brewed three unique beer styles that showcase New Zealand hops in all their powerful, aromatic splendor. Chur! Howdy Neighbour is a brand new New Zealand Pilsner they have brewed to showcase the Wakatu, Motueka, and Nectaron hops. This is a spicy little Pilsner! When poured, it is crystal clear, and lime, lemon, and a nice hint of grass jump out of the glass. Once the lips have left behind the dense, fluffy foam, the palate is treated to an even bigger explosion of citrus, a nice and slender malt backbone, and a crisp bitterness to finish the job. All in all, this is an absolute banger and the perfect beer to drink with the neighbor, whether they live next door or on the other side of the Tasman Sea.
