Quidi Vidi Brewing - Aged Imperial Stout 2020

Aged Imperial Stout - 2020 This beer was brewed in 2020, in the dark days of COVID and aged before bottling in 2023. Aging it for 3 years and we think it could age for 3 more. Rich, complex malt flavours of cocoa and light french roast coffee complemented by dark dried cherry, plum and malbec wine grapes, all underpinned by sweet, warming alcohol. Tasting Notes: Pours black with flashes of brown at the edges, with a thin tan head. Aroma is very fruit-forward; dried plum, dried dark cherry and light licorice. Flavour is full of rich dark fruits and subtle dark cocoa and coffee roast malts. Warming alcohol gives some sweetness on the finish.
