Pirate Life - India Pale Ale

This bold West Coast-style IPA affectionately referred to as the "Baby Blue" by the PL crew is a punch. Aromas of bright citrus fruits and musk stalks are pleasing, while a closer look reveals notes of fresh curry leaf - thanks to the addition of Riwaka hops. The taste itself is just as inviting, with pineapple lollipops, kumquats and marmalade, resulting in an intense burst of fruit on the mid palate. A hearty bitterness keeps things up to date, while the addition of crystal malt lends toffee sweetness and calm. The finish is clean with a hint of candied citrus and pine. Outstanding.
