Pirate Life - Hazy Pale Ale

This unfiltered beer pays homage to a PL classic, albeit with a slightly "cloudy" lens. It is brewed with a selection of high quality malts. Wheat and light malt make for a sturdy base, while Münchener, Carapils, and Caraaroma add body and a light toffee note. Thanks to the polyphenols that are produced during dry hopping, the beer has a nice cloudiness. The international hop varieties Kohatu, Wai-iti, Strata and Mosaic provide intense aromas of tropical fruits with light notes of citrus fruits and pine trees. It is tasty and malty, with a rounded mouthfeel and a fine bitterness in the middle of the palate. It's a bit reminiscent of our OG West Coast Pale, but honestly this beer is a little more approachable. We seem to be getting pretty good at it ..
