Beer description
An Imperial Stout, aged in Scotch Whisky barrels from Islay.
Taste: Immediately warming malty notes, with tangy red berries and sweet heather honey following - all wrapped up in a package of intense smokiness. Best paired with smoked game meats, thunderstorms, and waves crashing against a rocky beach.
Appearance: Jet black with a tan brown head..
Nose: Campfire roasted malt, peat smoke mixed with iodine, whispers of alcohol - almost challenging you to venture further.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Carafa Special II, Special B, Chocolate malt, Cara 300, Flaked oats, Chocolate rye
Hops: El Dorado, Hallertau Blanc
