Perlenzauber - 2022

Perlenzauber is Kalea's homage to the art of brewing from small and independent breweries. Each year, the beer is brewed by a different brewery. The brewmasters have a free hand at the brew kettles. With one small restriction - they must use special hop varieties ("pearls") - and one wish: "Show us your amazing brewing skills." This year, the choice fell on the Memminger Brewery in the Allgäu region of southern Germany. The brewmaster has opted for a cold-hopped unfiltered Pilsner. The hoppy pearls that were used are called Hallertauer Tradition, Mosaic and Ecuanot.
