Beer description
Pélican Blonde de Caractère is a top-fermented 7.5% unfiltered beer, typical of the North of France, with an intense and generous flavour.
To be drunk chilled at 3°, Pélican Blonde de Caractère has a golden blond, orange and delicately veiled colour, covered with a generous head and subtle fruity notes of orange zest and coriander.
Pélican Blonde de Caractère is round and spicy, with discreet herbaceous notes of coriander on the finish, offering all the generosity and intensity of Northern beers.
More than 100 years after its creation, Pélican© is back with a vengeance. The brand carried by the HEINEKEN group in France is relaunched with two new, contemporary recipes. Brewed in Mons-en-Baroeul, in the heart of the brewery of the same name, it is now available in blond and red, both top-fermented.
For its comeback, with its mascot and offbeat tone, Pélican© is preparing to turn the tables. Its unfiltered beers are full of character, and offer drinkers a stunning ritual: the Retournez-Savourez, a flavor enhancer.
At Pélican, our beers are unfiltered, one less step in the brewing process for a real plus in tasting, with even more generosity and character. That's why we always respect and repeat the same gesture: before opening the bottle (and not after!), we always gently turn our beers upside down before serving them. This gently stirs the yeast to reveal its intensity and flavor.
