Beer description
Literally, “The Charming Season”. Saison ales were originally brewed by farmers in Wallonia – the French-speaking part of Belgium- during the Winter months and were served to farm workers in the summer months, who were entitled to up to five liters each workday. True to tradition, this farmhouse ale was brewed in the winter, to be consumed throughout the summer months. Saison le Charmant is a very complex beer; fruity in the aroma and flavor. Look for earthy yeast tones and mild tartness. Lots of spice and with little bitterness, semi-dry with only a touch of sweetness.
