Beer description
Peanut Butter Porter, A Porter is a dark, often deep black beer with a malty or even roasted malt flavor. It was once called Porter because it was said to have been particularly popular with porters in 18th century London. Peanut butter, on the other hand, is a spreadable mass that consists mainly of peanuts and is often used in sweets, bakery products or as a spread. As you know, I like to be inspired by my sweet vice to beer creations. I got the kick-off for this effervescent specialty some time ago when I was allowed to try the Peanut Butter Porter of Dangerous Man Brewing from Minneapolis. And believe it or not, peanut butter and porter go well together. The art of this beer, however, will be to get a decent foam despite the high fat and oil content of the peanuts. And yes, I also accept this challenge!
