Light lager is a bottom-fermented and weakly hopped type of beer. The best-known representatives in this country are the Augustiner and Tegernseer Hell. Of course, I would also like to mention some representatives of our local heroes, such as Hell der Held-Bräu in Oberailsfeld or the warehouse of the Zehendner brewery in Mönchsambach. More recent interpretations of this beer style would be, for example, the Helle from Tillmans beers or the Kerlig Hell from Kuehn Kunz Rosen.
