Beer description
Our Bock Bock is a strong Bavarian bock beer that is decoction mashed and brewed with five different malts (Pilsner Malt, Munich Malt, Carahell, Carared and Wheat Malt) and two types of hops. Decoction mashing is an old brewing method where you first remove part of the wort, heat it separately and finally pump it back into the mash tun to raise the temperature. This method was particularly effective in controlling the temperature before the use of thermometers in the brewing process was discovered. This method gives a special caramelisation of the wort and contributes a delicious sweetness to the beer.
The two hops used in our Bock Bock Easter Beer also give the beer a rich and powerful flavour and spicy pear and citrus fruit aroma. Bock Bock is a sweet and full-bodied lager type beer, made extra delicious by its special brewing process and the addition of extra hops.
