In the start of 2023 we brewed a Doppelbock for the first time, one of our favorite beer styles. The recipe is quite complex when it comes to the malts used and in order to enhance their profile we decided to make a traditional double decoction. While the beer was undergoing its lagering process, Mickael Santos, our barrel dealer, proposed that we collaborate with an extremely special barrel! This barrel aged Wild Turkey bourbon for 8 years, Crown maple syrup for 2 years and finally this Doppelbock for 12 months! We are fascinated with the result and we just hope you like it as much as we do!
