One Barrel Brewing - Springbok

Half Bock - Built like a traditional Germna Bock, only half the size and creatively brewed as a hybrid using Kolsch yeast. We cold conditioned it and the result is super smooth, ligh and very session-able light-brown beer with hints of chocolate and a sweet nuttiness. It is a uniquely flavorful light beer that is perfect for the early spring days of pint pounding and celebration! (ORIGINAL RELEASE 3/2014) This was a test batch for the 2014 IB$K, our annual collaboration beer with our good friends at Karben 4, we went ahead and brewed a larger batch out there with the and released it as "1B4K 2014 Demi-Bok" during Craft Beer Week 2014.
