Beer description

Aroma is sweetish, malty with some mixed-in fruit (mostly citrusy/tart, probs the oranges). I think there’s also some butter to it? Kinda meh. Pours amber, tea-like, with large snowy head. Ok retention, nice lacing. In flavor definitely sour/tart at first, citrusy. Behind it there’s lots of dry maltiness: it’s bread, caramel, some wheat. Malt is accompanied by hoppy tropical fruit. Afterwards herbal bitterness kicks in. It’s moderate (at first even feels a bit strong), pleasant. The aftertaste is also where the currant leaves seem to appear. Smooth, full bodied but very drinkable. It’s got a nice balance, the hops and peel make for juicy flavor that is offset by strong maltiness. Very solid, relaxing IPA.
