Olde Hickory Wavell Gunn

Clear, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Rich and intense, caramel malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of liquorice and peat. Taste is slighty smoky, caramel malty, notes of caramel, hints of peat, burnt caramel, some liquorice, a dry woody touch; slightly prickling carbonation.
