Beer description
Pours a clear, dark brown, with an off-white head. Malty, hoppy aroma with a spicy note, the latter taking on an anise-like resemblance as it warms; apparently it's the chervil. Flavour is sweetish, with an anise / sweet liquorice note. Malt, hops in the background and a hint of chocolate. Roasted finish with an ashy note.
