Beer description
Grolsch Oaked Quadruple is a quadruple with a full aroma of oak, liquorice and a soft aftertaste. During brewing, I added a little liquorice root extract for a full mellow flavour. After fermentation, I circulated this beer over a bed of American oak for several days. This particular wood gives a subtle vanilla aroma.
