Beer description
For this bottom-fermented strong beer speciality, our organic Sonnwendbock is matured for several months in a bourbon barrel made from American oak. Mahogany in colour, the aroma of the Oak Aged Sonnwendbock is a balanced blend of vanilla, caramel, berries and the typical oak aroma. It is pleasantly full-bodied on the tongue with a distinct whiskey flavour. Finishes with light roasted flavours, prunes and typical bourbon vanilla notes. Hand-bottled in a 0.75 litre swing-top bottle.
