"Oak Aged" is the fusion of the art of craft brewing and exquisite barrel selection for further maturation. This strong beer was brewed even stronger especially for this purpose in order to develop its full potential during 6 months of maturation in wooden barrels.
The maturation in former AYRER's ALLIGATOR barrels creates a complex interplay of aromas paired with a slight sweetness. A very malty, aromatic, ruby-red character with a fine hops note combined with sweet notes of grapes and dark chocolate. In the aftertaste, the complex aroma of the whisky barrel unfolds convincingly with a unique taste profile.
