Beer description

Those keeping a closer eye on the doings of the mighty Warsaw wholesaler Monsters, know this beer and know that it's the apple of the brewer's eye 🙂 To those who pop in from time to time and don't know this, I say: O Tiole Mio is the apple of the brewer's eye 😉 It's a beer in a style that doesn't exist 😉 I classify it as an Italian Grape Lager, although that's actually a slap in the face to this beer, as it places it not much higher than the usual vile, corporation-owned Eurolager. If I had to describe it briefly, I'd write that it's the thioliest beer you've ever had, but let's agree and that won't tell you much. Therefore, I have to scrawl you the entire production process so that you can see what I see, which is the uniqueness of this beer. The mash was composed as standard from Heidelberg ultra-bright Pilsner malt with an admixture of Rye malt, which made up about 30% of the total. Decoction mashing to give a pleasant, full and biscuity malt foundation. There are those who will say that decoction mashing makes no sense, but believe me - they're breezing 😉 During the mash we added Styrian Wolf hops for the introduction of thiols into the wort. Numerous tests beforehand have shown that this hop has just as much thiol potential as Czech Saaz. Phantasm NZ (powdered white grape skins, or... thiols) and New Zealand's Nelson Sauvin hops, known for their vinous profile, went into Whirpool. For fermentation, we used a special lager strain that works well with thiols to give an effect in pos The effect? First of all the aroma of white grapes, associations with white wine (hello indignant winemakers 😉 ), peaches, rhubarb, good champagne, passion fruit and perhaps grapefruit 😉 On the taste moderately sweet, with an abundance of associations with white wine, juicy with a pleasant bitter and tart finish. An elegant beer for non-elegant times 😉 I'm sure there is no similar beer on the market and that it will give you a unique experience 🙂 . On Tuesday and Wednesday, the kek went out to multitaps, while the pus will start to appear on shop shelves from next week. To those who made it to the end of this text - beautiful thanks ❤.
