Beer description
Who remembers Nut Brown?!
It was delivered to pubs by dray (geddit?!)*. Based on our original Nut Brown recipe but brewed with modern, refreshing hop varieties. It’s the colour of a freshly-cracked nut with flavours of gooseberries, caramel & malt.
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, it’s a brown ale with aromas of gooseberries, pine, toasted malt and caramel, and on the palate there’s brown sugar balanced with a fresh bitterness alongside orange and fresh bread notes.
Enjoy on its own or pair with grilled red meats or hard cheeses.

Decent nutty malt aroma. Similar taste profile but with a subtle bitterness to finish. Smooth and easy drinking session ale. Part of the spoons beer festival range.
