Beer description

We are big fans of the beers that Theo and the team have brought to the market in recent years and we are excited to see what they will achieve in 2020 in their brand new, expanded brewhouse. It's the perfect time of year to brew a big DIPA with U.S. hopping while the 2019 crop finds its way into European sales. DEYA was very keen to work with some newer strains while being as fresh as possible. That's why we decided to build the beer around Idaho 7, a late-ripening variety with tropical fruit potential. We supported this with Azacca, a hop that really impressed us last year with its ripe watermelon aroma, and rounded off this juicy hop note with the first of our individually selected batch Citra. This combined 28 g / l dry hops sits over a base beer loaded with oatmeal and wheat and is fermented with a new US variety that is perfect for the production of superpure IPAs and has a slightly fruity ester profile to complement the diverse range of flavors , which is generated by this stellar hop note, to complement and not to overwhelm.
