Northern Monk Amy Hastings The Lovers Soft Centre Imperial Stout

One of the fascinating aspects of the Tarot is the juxtaposition of the appearances of the cards and their different interpretations - all is not what it first appears. We wanted to recreate this contrast of dark and light by pairing Amy's bright, bold and colorful artwork with a sombre, menacingly dark Imperial Stout. Taking inspiration from the Valentine's chocolate boxes offered an opportunity to create another contrast - the feel of light, sweet, red-fruity soft nubs shimmering through the cracks in the dark, bittersweet chocolate.
