North Italian Pils

In cooperation with the Beak Brewery in Lewes, we have brewed a pure, crunchy and hoppy Italian pilsner. We used the traditional Haná malt, the first type of malt used in a golden Pilsner recipe in Bavaria in 1842. 100% of the meal brings subtle notes of freshly baked bread, a crunchy and foamy body and a light golden color. We used one of our favorite hops, the Czech Saaz, both in the whirlpool and as dry hops in the form of pure Lupomax and T90 powder. The Czech Saaz has an incredibly bright and lively taste, especially a fresh and herbaceous quality with a hint of lemon peel and floral aromas. The artwork is a collaboration between Refold and Jay Cover, inspired by the Roger Stevens Building at the University of Leeds.
