What happens when a traditional hop variety meets a traditional brewery? A very special beer is created. That's what our master brewer, Stefan Herz, thought when he came across the Northern Brewer hop variety, which is a perfect match for us, because nomen is known to be omen. And of course we took that as an opportunity and created a new beer - cool, trendy and above all unmistakable in taste. That's what the special hops do. Northern Brewer is a classic hop variety and was first bred in England in the 1930s. Today, the variety is cultivated in the Hallertau, among other places, and is known for its high bitterness and intensely spicy aroma. This creates the particularly aromatic, tart taste of our Northern Brewer Hell.
