Beer description
The mermaid has a lighter and paler yellow dress, which makes the glass shine unclouded. The medium to coarse-pored foam on top is average stable and moderately intense. In the nose you have the feeling that the aroma was reduced. But noticeable are grassy hop aromas. The malt keeps very discreetly in the background - of course, the carbohydrates are also hidden here. Very soft grainy notes are recognizable. Very light in the antrunk, with more hoppy tart aromas. The sparkling, lively carbon dioxide refreshes quite well and briefly promotes a bitter. The beer tastes very flat and not very complex. On the tongue is in the middle part of some malt taste noticeable, but also does not want to develop a real body. In the short drink the beer stays very dry and the grassy hop notes take over again. One has the impression that the carbonic acid is still working on the tongue. Light beer or not, the mermaid is a beer that knows how to cool off ice-cold. In real comparison, however, remain some significant taste percent on the track.
