Imperial Stout Aged in Pinot Noir Barrels.
Packaged in 2017 (after spending a year in Pinot Noir Barrels) this bold Russian Imperial Stout has had a chance to settle and mature in the Nickel Brook Cellar. Full-bodied and rich, this complex brew boasts notes of coffee, chocolate, and dark fruit, and finishes with a bite of oaky grape character, and a pleasantly tart touch. Earthy and mellow due to it's maturity, Winey Bastard 2017 is the perfect brew to share on a special occasion or a cold winter night by the fire.
