Newlands Spring Brewing Co. - Jacob's Pale Ale

This beer celebrates the legacy of our pioneering brewer Jacob Letterstedt. The three barley malt varieties that have found a 155 year old recipe from our Newlands archives provide a rich color. The strong taste is complemented by traditional English hop aromatics. Aroma: Caramel malt aroma from the crystal malt – toffee and toffee apple Earthy english hop aroma. Taste: Sweetish biscuit caramel notes with English yeast fruitiness initially. After swallowing this will be balanced with a clean hop bitterness which should not overpower the maltiness but balance it. Bitterness will spread from the back of the tongue and move forward into the palate.
