Beer description
CJ, our Director of Brewery Engineering and Maintenance, puts his brewer's hat on from time to time. CJ wanted to brew a beer he could drink with breakfast that is NOT a stout, so he thought up his first recipe for New Realm and Breakfast Thunder was born!!
It pours clear and deep amber, color just like maple syrup! Aroma and taste are malty with subtle hints of coffee, dark cherry fruit, hints of roast coffee/dark chocolate and maple syrup on the back end. The beer is dry and very complex-and changes a lot as it warms.
Includes Robb Family farm Late Season Maple Syrup, Firelight Coffee Espresso roast, malted buckwheat, Sugar Cane sap, Maris Otter and English crystal malt and a touch of chocolate malt, EKG and Magnum hops.
